Support Overbrook School for the Blind with eScrip!
Simply sign up at www.escrip.com and register your cards (grocery cards, ATM or credit cards). Designate Overbrook School for the Blind, Group ID# 6548241 to receive contributions. Then shop as you normally would either online, in stores or shopping malls.
At the end of the month, hundreds of merchants send their sales data to eScrip to process through their computer systems. If registered cards were used on a specific transaction, the computers calculate the rewards amount (from 1%-10% of total), and we get a check two weeks later. The merchants do the donating for us!
The merchants (Genuardi’s, Safeway, Target, Macy’s and more) require stringent security systems be in place to protect their customers’ information. It is a safe and easy way to donate to the school without having to take extra cash from your budgets.
If you’d rather not register credit cards, you can simply choose to support Overbrook, and then click on the eScrip OnlineMall link. There you will find shopping categories, store listings and even see the amount that the school will get from their purchases. Many of your favorite stores use this as a means of donating to schools.
Ecophones Recycling Program
Overbrook School for the Blind is conducting a cell phone and other electronics recycling fundraiser. There’s nothing to buy. We simply ask you to protect the environment by donating your used cell phone, Ink Jet printer cartridges, Laptop, iPod or digital camera. Electronics will be recycled in accordance with EPA regulations or refurbished and sold. 100% of the proceeds will help fund Overbrook’s Early Intervention Outreach Summer Workshop. You can send in these items with your child or drop them off at Overbrook’s Development Office.
Target Takes Charge of Education
Did you know there’s an easy way to help us raise money for Overbrook School for the Blind? It’s called Target’s Take Charge of Education, and it’s helping our school right now.
Overbrook’s Take Charge of Education School ID: 15458
Here’s how it works:
1.Visit www.Target.com/tcoe or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school, then use your REDcard whenever you shop.
2.When you use your REDcard (Target® Visa® Credit Card, Target Credit Card or Target Check Card), Target will donate up to 1% of your purchases to Overbrook School for the Blind.
Don’t have a REDcard? It’s easy to apply. Get started in person at any Target store or go to www.Target.com/redcard.
Grandparents, alumni, friends and neighbors are all welcome to participate in the program. The more people we involve, the harder the program works for our school. If you’re already participating, thank you! Check out our school’s progress anytime at www.Target.com/tcoe.
