Winding Down and Gearing Up!
The 2009 - 2010 School Year is drawing to a close. Its times like these, when we’re all running around getting ready for summer, cleaning up desks, preparing students for transitions and organizing for next year, that we reflect on all that has happened!
Many, many wonderful things were accomplished this school year. Students worked hard at achieving their personal goals, growing their social skills, gaining vocational experience, going on trips, making friends, building character, experiencing independent living — the list goes on and on.
We also have a great deal to be proud of as an organization. We continue to strive to meet our Middle States Objectives. We initiated and delivered the White Hall Independent Living Program with great success. We helped students gain employment and prepare for college. We put on incredible musical and theatrical performances. We improved the campus and expanded the Aquatic Center Program. We can be proud of the fact that strive for continual improvement, and achieve it as well.
There are so many great memories of this past year. So many moments to give our students and ourselves a little pat on the back! Not for TOO long, however, because the extended school year programs begin!
So while we are catching our breath before a busy summer, why not take a look at some photographs from the last year.
