Dear Friends,
Thank you for visiting the Overbrook School for the Blind Alumni web page.
The information on this page should be of interest to those who attended Overbrook, and those interested in learning more about the activities of the Alumni association. You will find a listing of the recipients of the distinguished Alumni Award, which is presented each year by the Overbrook Board of Managers, and profiles of some of the recipients.
If you haven’t been receiving the Towers, our newsletter, or any mailings in recent years, the chances are pretty good that we don’t have a current address for you.
Why not make plans to come back and visit us. We are proud of our past, and Overbrook still enjoys the reputation for being one of the leading schools for the education of children who are blind in the United States.
Our campus is as beautiful as ever. When you visit, you will have the opportunity to share in the variety of experiences our students have each day. The echoes in the rotunda and the cloisters, the smells of the flowers and trees, are still very much a part of a visit to Overbrook.
Overbrook School for the Blind, has a rich history, and all former students play an important part in it. Our activities in the past are significant, and we must celebrate those activities, and bring them together with the Overbrook of today.
Some former students and their friends have asked about how they can best support the school and its projects. There is an easy way, look for the Support Overbrook Link on the web site for information on the opportunities you have to support the school.
Thank you for visiting us.
