Programs

Every student arrives at Overbrook School for the Blind with individual strengths, interests, ways of communicating and goals for the future. That is why OSB does not take a one-size-fits-all approach to education.

From early childhood through young adulthood, our programs bring together specialized instruction, accessible materials, assistive technology, therapeutic services and real-world learning. Whether services take place on campus, at home or in a student’s local school, each experience is designed to help the student participate fully, build confidence and prepare for what comes next.

From Early Childhood Through Young Adulthood

OSB programs are designed to meet students where they are and support their next steps at every stage of development.

More Ways to Learn

OSB also offers specialized services and learning experiences that extend support beyond traditional classroom instruction.

Student Life & Enrichment

At OSB, students learn by doing. In classrooms, on campus, in activities, and out in the community. Every part of the day is an opportunity to build confidence, practice independence, and connect with others in meaningful ways.

A Team Approach Across Every Program

Across every OSB program, students are supported by teachers, therapists, orientation and mobility specialists, nurses, support staff, families, and school partners who work together to support each student’s Individualized Education Program.

This collaborative approach helps students access learning, strengthen communication, build independence, and participate more fully in school and community life.
