Short Term Programs
Overbrook School for the Blind offers various short-term programs to enrich students’ learning experience. These include summer programs, a transition program and a residential opportunity.
Extended School Year (ESY) - ESY is designed to maintain skills and reduce regression during the summer months by incorporating academic, social, behavioral and vocational Individualized Educational Program (IEP) goals.
Overbrook Transition Vocational Initiative Program (TVI) (Summer) - TVI is a three-week residential summer program to prepare students who are blind or visually impaired for employment.
School to Work (Transition After High School) - Prepares students to lead productive and satisfying adult lives.
White Hall Apartment Living - An educational and residential opportunity for students in the School to Work daytime program at Overbrook.
