Thanks to the generosity of many companies, you may be able to maximize your support of OSB by directing a matching gift through your or your spouse/partner's employer. Simply check with the human resources office to see if they offer matching gifts, fill out the appropriate forms, and let us know of your plans. You will receive recognition for the combined amount of your personal gift plus the matching gift.

Donor advised funds (DAFs) are easily established and offer donors the ability to have more flexibility in reducing taxable income and directing charitable contributions.

Donors may support OSB through their DAF in two ways:

• Designate OSB as a beneficiary to receive all or a portion of your DAF
• Make a grant recommendation for the current year to any fund at OSB

Please note that federal tax regulations state that donors may not receive any goods or services for gifts received from DAFs.

If you 70 ½ or older, you are eligible to make a gift of any amount up to $100,000 annually directly from your IRA to OSB. While there is no charitable deduction, these gifts qualify for your required minimum distribution (RMD) and do not count as income for federal income tax purposes.
